Here comes the new crop of craft shows. I'm getting applications in the mail left and right. Which ones do I do? I do know that with knitted hats I only do shows in the winter. I learned that lesson last year. Should I go out on a limb this year and try the really big one at the local colesium and pay a boat load of money for a teeny, tiny booth? Argh, knitting shouldn't be so hard!

Sorry everyone. I got so busy with Christmas business and then after Christmas I had a handful of special orders that I have not had time to blog. I promise to start posting more regularly. Meanwhile, I must get back to knitting. I'm trying to rebuild my inventory.

Here is a special order hat I knitted from a customer at an arts and craft show. We are getting our inventory up and able to put more on ETSY now. There are so many color combinations you can do when you knit animal hats. I could have a whole booth of all the requests I've had.

Mom and I are gearing up for our first BIG craft and art show. This will be a true test as to how well our hats are going to sell. To make it even harder for us, we live down in the south were it does NOT get cold. People don't think of knit hats and scarves down here. We carry around hand held fans and keep bottles of water in our purses.

Mom and I started knitting hats for the KNIT ONE SAVE ONE charity and fell in love with knitting. We have started on blankets, booties, socks (yuck, hate knitting those) and scarves also. But my main love comes back to hats. I will be the only one down here rocking a knit hat at all my son's sports games. Who knows, I might just throw some extra hats in my trunk to sell...just in case someone else wants to look as cool as me.
